An Update (finally)

First order of business: less then a month. Excuse me while I asdfshyhreawsbtzydhxfgd!!!

OK... on with the update:

So far...

1. We have booked our flights and accommodation for Disney/Universal trip of amaztitude. 
2. We bought (and received) our park tickets... YAY!!
3. Also, our luggage tags have arrived. which I want a photo of. Get on that Katie... I wanna post a picture of them. Please?
4. I have got myself an indecent amount of America monies to spend. 
5. I have travel insurance. 
6. I have a shuttle to take me to the airport. 
7. I have started packing my bag. 
8. I have bought many presents for people I will be seeing.
9. I have made a list of things to pack
10. I bought myself a new camera
11. I have informed my class that I am going to Disneyworld. (note to self, it is kinda immature to tell 5 year olds you are going to Disneyworld and they are not)
12. I bought a pretty new dress. This is not technically trip related but it is very pretty so I wanted to share. 

Things we/I are yet to do:

1. Buy food to bring and share. So far my list of food to bring is: toffee pops, truffles, chocolate, buzz bars and pineapple lumps. Please remind me if there was a food you liked/heard of that you want me to bring. 
2. Finish packing
3. Be a responsible adult and photocopy all of my flight details
4. Pack something other then presents as all of my nerdy fandom t-shirts

Things we should organise/ talk about:

1. When are we going to the met?
2. Will we have time to see a show?
3. When are we seeing Spiderman? Will Katie come to Spiderman,? Please? Because boys in spandex=never not sexy. 
4. What movies are we going to watch in the lead up to DISNEYWORLD
5. Harry Potter. Just... in general
6. Is there anything I am forgetting?

Welcome!

Welcome friends, family, randoms who found this god knows how, welcome to my online summer vacation diary.

As you should already know, I am heading stateside this July to spend an epic second summer hanging out with my best friends and heart-sisters (This is a thing I call you, don't complain, try explaining our relationship to the uninitiated and you'll have to make up words too.)

We will have an awesome time shopping, watching movies, fangirling and generally terrorizing those who don't know us (and those who do).

We will also be invading Florida to visit the two most amazing things corporate America has bought us, Disneyworld and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

In an effort to document this amazing summer, and convince myself to actually be IN photos for once, I am creating this blog.

I'll post updates, photos, videos, ridiculous quotes and hopefully keep you all informed of how much better my holiday is then yours.

Until I go, this will be a place for me to record our build-up and plans, and where I can rant out things going wrong. (Like my STUPID plane tickets, that have already changed twice!)
